This Section of the site is dedicated to beings that can be summoned, these include Watcher Spirits, Nature Spirits, Spirits of Man, Elementals, Toxic Spirits, Corrupted Elementals, Demons, Devils, Deamodands, Cherubim, Seraphim, Angels and Arch Angels.
All these creatures are summoned using variations of the Planar Summons Spell
These two type of Spirit are generally summoned by those following a Shamanic Belief System, Hermentic style Mages can summon them, but its harder. There are many types and forms of Nature Spirits and Spirits of Man
There are other forms of Spirits that can be summoned, but I haven't decided how to do them yet, these include Vaudun Loa, Spirits of the Faerie, Insect Spirits and Spider Spirits.
Also there are those of a Shamanic Style who Corrupt and Damage Nature, they can also summon various spirits, but they pollute them with the poison of their souls and instead summon Toxic Spirits, these corruptions are deadly and very hard to control, many young Toxic Shamans have perished while attempting to summon and retain control of these beings.
Elementals represent the 4 classic building blocks of magic ( and at one time considered to also be the creators of life), Air, Earth, Fire and Water. They are powerful creatures and are beloved by Hermetic Mages. Shamans can summon them but at a lesser chance of success. Another form of Elemental Spirit that is becoming common is the Blood Elemental ( Either fed by the Blood of the Summoner, or his un/willing donors/sacrifices) ( AEFW Spirits are from the Classic European Magic Beliefs, other cultures have their own systems of Elemental Powers which may be covered at another time)
Elemental Types
Some Mages, ussually of an anti-social or evil nature summon Corrupted Elementals, their reasons are many and varied, but common threads of hatred and jealousy seems to influence many. These elementals are deadly and still a fairly unknown quantity.
These are the classic creatures of Evil, the tempters, the corrupters, the causers of grief and pain, and the source of much power in the world.
Demons are the foot soldiers of Devils and used by Sorcerors and other evil spellcasters as familiars, footsoldiers, assissins etc etc. Devils are the Greater Demons and each is unique, they need to be summoned to Earth and can't stay here long, generally summoned to aid a minion or to fulfil their own strange designs, they can cause great havoc in a short period of time. Daemodand are a special case, these are the Evil Spirits that create Vampiric Creatures and are generally summoned only by another of its kind to inhabite a body of one that has fallen to the seduction of evil.
There are too many types of Demon, Devil and Daemodand to list, but below are a few of the more common types
When Magic returned to the World in 2020 the Catholic Church denouced it as heresy in the eyes of God, claimed it was tricks by neo-pagans to discredit the "Word of the Lord". That is they denouced it until Cardinal Mark Shapiro of Los Angeles claimed to have spoken to the Arch-Angel Michael and announced that magic was given as a gift to mankind from GOD. Later meetings between the Arch-Angels and others have never proven the existence of GOD, indeed there is still no absolute proof of the existence of GODS. However several of the Angelic beings of Judaic/Christian Lore do exist, though they are not letting on in what capacity. The 4 Arch-Angels are the guides and protectors of the Realms of Reality, but that is about all anyone has found out about them, reports of Serphim and Cherubim are plentyful and have been documented, but again they are a mystery.
